Life

The treetop, the temple
Twilight and the hills
Red carpeted sky
and the dying sun
Humdrums, chit-chat
playful giggles
of the lovers
The lights against the dark
The pyre
that heat

the mourning
Those tears
Those hymns

the dance and trance
The void, the peace
And the loner.

My Love

You were there lost
As I was too
I got to you running
And I found you
You hold my hands
and together we walked
the jungles dark and oceans deep
I carried you around my arms
when you were weak
I played with you
You coyed with me
Together we made
a perfect match
And suddenly I woke up
to my dilapidated state
to find myself cursing my fate
I lost someone in dreams
that I never had in real
I mourned over the loss
and smiled away the pain
soon I shall fall asleep
and dare to dream again.
